Kapatiran: esKWELA II

By Marcelle Maries Collado

Claret School of Zamboanga City´s Theater Arts Club is once again proud to present another musical play. This year´s musical play is entitled " Kapatiran, esKWELA2 " which was written by the theater members, edited and directed by Mr. Rene Carbayas, and music by Mr. Reynold Custodio.

People of different ages and students from different schools watched the play last March 5-7, 14-15 at the CMPC Gym.

In this play, Luwina, (played by Baby Jane Calisang) looks for a club and accidentally enters a sorority. There she meets Gilhan, (played by Arkhie Frincillio). And after a series of events they fall madly in love with each other. During the fight of the two fraternities (Alpha Beta Kho and Tau Betans), Gilhan was about to be struck by a knife but Luwina risked her life to save Gilhan... or did she?

With the help of the Art Club, Maintenance Staff and Glee Club, the "Teatro" was able to strike the minds and hearts of their audience with moral values that they can apply in their everyday lives.
